Reproduction bed-to-frame mounting bolt set for a wide variety of 1973-87 Chevrolet and GMC fleetside pickup truck models. Each 32-piece set includes bed-to-frame mounting hardware for fleetside bed. Two of the bolts in this kit are longer than the other 6 bolts. These are OE-style shouldered bolts, like the original factory bolts. They are not threaded all the way down the stem like cheaper aftermarket replacements. Fits long bed or short bed fleetside models equipped with 6 short bolts and 2 long bolts. Check the bolt length on your truck before ordering.

• GM never spelled this out in parts literature. None of the OE-style kit descriptions actually say ?the long bolts go in position X.? They just say the kit includes 6 short and 2 long bed-to-frame bolts for the fleetside bed.



• In practice, when you test-fit on a truck that does use the longer pair: The long bolts are used at the two mounting points with the tallest ?stack?:
• Bed floor
• Bed crossmember
• Rubber pad/spacer
• Frame rail
• Any additional shim plates

• At the rear pair of mounts (one on each side) under the tailgate area, because the frame kicks up and the cross sill/pad stack is deeper there than at the front.
