This reproduction center link (also called a relay rod) will replace the original center link on 1955-57 Chevrolet 150/210/Bel Air models with manual steering. This center link can also be used when converting from the old power assist power steering to a 500 series, 605 or 670 series gearbox, or to simply convert the original power steering assist system to manual steering. Requires a pitman arm with a ball on the end rather than the style that has a tapered tie rod hole. For use with manual steering or power steering conversions only. Will not work for stock power assist steering systems with the old control valve and slave cylinder setup.
