1972 Skylark, Lemans, GS, GTO, T37; Blower Motor Resistor; with AC

Reproduction heater blower motor resistor for various GM air conditioned models. Each resistor is an exact reproduction of the original GM component designed to fit and function same as the original AC Delco resistor. The blower motor resistor is responsible for controlling the speed of the fan. Replaces GM part # 487089.

Because the speed of the fan is a setting that is frequently adjusted by the driver of the vehicle, resistors are often under continuous stress or strain, which can cause the resistor to fail. A common symptom of a faulty resistor is when the blower motor is stuck on one speed or does not work on certain settings. Another symptom is no power at all to the blower motor resulting in no air from the vehicle's vents.

Buick Applications:
  • 1971-1971 Buick Skylark (with type 2 resistor) (with letter "C" stamp)
  • 1971-1971 Buick GS (with type 2 resistor) (with letter "C" stamp)
  • 1972-1972 Buick Skylark (all)
  • 1972-1972 Buick GS (all)
Pontiac Applications:
  • 1972-1972 Pontiac T37(with AC)
  • 1972-1972 Pontiac Lemans(with AC)
  • 1972-1972 Pontiac GTO (with AC)
