If your 1969 Trans Am is in need of a new hood, or you want to upgrade your early Firebird with Trans Am Styling, this hood is for you! This all-steel reproduction is stamped from quality tooling, making it far superior to all other Trans Am hoods currently being offered. Each hood features a fully reinforced underside that will bolt to your stock hood hinges while retaining the factory hood-hinge springs and hood latch mechanism. Like the original 1969 Trans Am hood, this hood can feed cool, fresh air to your motor with the use of the proper scoop inserts (available separately). Although this hood is designed for 1969 Trans Am models, it will also fit 1967-69 Firebird hardtop and convertible models.
